Our shop is located right at No-1 on the 132 Ft Ring Road, near Jivraj Park Char Rasta. It’s a very busy intersection, so there’s always noise and traffic passing by. Most people find us easily because we are quite close to the Nk School and the big D-Mart. We mostly deal with construction equipment and various tools. It’s a small space, but we try to keep it packed with what people need. My brother and I are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. We spend a lot of our time wiping grease off things and making sure the inventory is where it should be. It’s a lot of manual work and we often go home with dirty hands. The shop isn't polished or modern. It has some old posters on the wall and a desk that’s seen better days. We don't really do any big marketing. Most of our customers are just folks from the neighborhood or local contractors who have known us for years. We usually take our tea break at the stall across the street when things quiet down for a bit. It’s an honest way to make a living. Sometimes we run out of a specific part and have to wait for a delivery, which can be a bit of a headache for everyone. We just try to do our best and keep the machines moving for the people who rely on them.
