Ahmedabad is a massive city that is constantly growing, and being in this particular zip code keeps us close to a lot of the action. The office itself is a very basic setup. We have some sturdy wooden desks, a few metal filing cabinets, and the usual office equipment like printers and phones. It’s a place where we come to do the real work, not to sit in fancy meetings. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or checking on the status of machinery orders. The air in this part of Ahmedabad can be quite heavy with the smell of exhaust and dust from all the new buildings going up, so we mostly stay indoors. We don't have a big team here, just a handful of us who know the business inside and out. There’s a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea, which is pretty much a requirement for getting through the afternoon slump. We don't use any promotional language or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a local office handling our part of the machinery business as best as we can. It’s a bit loud outside sometimes with the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. It’s just a normal workplace for us.
