Our place is at 274, Premchand Nagar Raw House, which is right near the Judges Bunglows Char Rasta in Bodakdev. Taurus Earthmovers Limited has been operating from this Ahmedabad address for a good number of years. It’s a row house, so it doesn't look like your typical industrial office. We have a small yard and a couple of rooms where we keep all the records and handle the daily business. The neighborhood is a mix of people living their lives and businesses like ours trying to get things done. We deal with heavy equipment and construction logistics. It’s a lot of work coordinating where the machines need to be. Ahmedabad is a city that never seems to stop building, so there’s always something to do. We don't have a polished corporate look. Our desks are a bit cluttered with site maps and old coffee mugs. We spend a lot of time on the phone with operators and site managers. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes everyone a bit sluggish, but we push through. We’re just a local team doing our best to keep up with the demand. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense way of running a company. We like the local feel of being in a row house.
