Down at F 25 Satyam Status near the Chandan Farm Party plot in Ahmedabad, you’ll find us. Dr. Unmesh Upadhyay is usually here early. It’s a childcare place, so you can imagine it gets pretty noisy with kids crying or running around the hallway. The walls have some stickers on them to make it look a bit more friendly for the little ones. Some parents come in looking really worried when their baby has a fever, and we just try to get them seen as fast as we can. The parking outside near Chandan Farm can be a bit of a headache during peak hours, especially when there’s an event nearby. Inside Vismay Childcare Hospital, it’s mostly just us handling files and making sure the exam rooms are tidy. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us trying to keep things organized. The air conditioner hums in the background all day because Ahmedabad gets so hot. Sometimes we order snacks from the local shops when we have a break. We see a lot of families from the neighborhood. Some kids have been coming to see Dr. Unmesh since they were born and now they are starting school. It’s funny to see how much they grow. We just keep the doors open and do what needs doing every day without much fuss. We usually head home once the last patient is gone and the lights are off.
