Ameri Children Hospital

Ameri Children Hospital is on the 2nd floor of the Astha Medical Complex in Rannapark, Ghatlodia. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a workout every day, though there is a lift for the parents carrying their little ones. Ghatlodia is a busy residential spot, so we see a lot of families from the nearby apartments. Working with kids means the hospital is rarely quiet. There’s usually someone crying or a toddler running down the hallway while their parents try to catch them. We’ve tried to make the waiting area a bit more friendly for the kids, but it’s still just a regular hospital floor. The Astha Medical Complex has other clinics too, so there are always people coming and going in the stairs and the lobby. We spend our time checking temperatures, giving out medicine, and talking to worried parents. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s just our daily routine. The afternoons can get quite hot when the sun hits the side of the building, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people find us because they live in Rannapark and saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a local place for local people.
