Chiranjivi Children Hospital

Chiranjivi Children Hospital is located in the Satyanarayan Society area, right near the Shankheshwar Derasar in Ramnagar. If you know Vastrapur at all, you know this part of the neighborhood gets quite a lot of people visiting the temple. We are tucked into a spot that feels more like a home than a sterile hospital, which we think helps the kids feel a bit less scared. We’ve got a few drawings taped to the walls that some of our patients made for us over the years. The floors are clean but you can see where the feet have worn them down in the main hallway. We don't spend much on advertising because the families around Ramnagar already know where we are. Dealing with children means there is always someone crying or someone laughing, and our staff is used to the noise. We don't have a professional cleaning crew coming in every hour; we just pick up after ourselves as we go. The waiting room chairs aren't the newest, but they’re sturdy. We keep some basic snacks in the back for when we have to work through lunch. It’s a busy life, especially when the weather changes and all the kids start getting sick at once. We just take it one patient at a time and try to keep things simple. We are just a local group of people looking after the neighborhood kids in a way that feels honest.
