Sky Lam Pvt. Ltd. is situated out at the Maha Gujarat Industrial Estate in Village Moriya. Our specific spot covers Plot No. 13 to 16 A/4 A/5. It is quite a large space because we need the room for all the laminate sheets we handle. Being in Changodar means we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses. The morning commute into the estate can be a bit slow because of the heavy traffic, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. Our facility is mostly just a big warehouse with a small section for the office work. It can get pretty hot inside during the summer months, so we keep the big doors open to let whatever breeze there is come through. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big sales team. It’s just a few of us making sure the inventory is tracked and the orders are sent to the right places. The yard is usually full of pallets waiting to be loaded. We know most of the neighbors in the industrial estate, and we often see them at the local tea stalls during the afternoon. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks as long as the work gets done correctly. We focus on the daily chores and keeping the warehouse organized enough to find things.
