Citizen Industries Ltd.

Our office is at Citizen Arena, right opposite Nidhi Hospital in the Navrangpura area of Ahmedabad. It is a very busy part of town. There is always the sound of sirens from the hospital and people looking for parking spots. At Citizen Industries Ltd., we have a bit more of a city feel than the factories out on the highway. We deal with industrial equipment and projects, so there is a lot of paperwork and technical drawing happening at the desks. The air conditioner is usually running because Ahmedabad gets so incredibly hot for most of the year. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and tea. Sometimes we order snacks from the stall downstairs when we have to stay late to finish a report. It is a pretty tight-knit group here. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, you just walk in and someone will look up from their computer and ask how they can help you. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs. We spend our time on the phone with clients or out at site visits, so the office can be empty one hour and completely packed the next. It is just the way we operate. We like being in the center of the city where everything is happening, even if the traffic is a nightmare sometimes.
