Kundanvala Brothers

Our place is over at 6 Gokul Mevavala Flats, right on Kiran Park Road in Vadaj. It’s more of a family-run spot, really. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, and everyone around here knows where the flats are. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; it’s just us working out of this space. Most days start with opening up the shutters and checking what needs to be done. We deal with various things depending on what our customers are looking for that week. The traffic on Kiran Park Road can get a bit much during rush hour, so we try to get our deliveries moved early in the morning. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes with all the stock piled up, but we know where everything is. We don’t spend money on big ads or fancy signs. Most of our people come to us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a quiet life mostly, aside from the local kids playing outside the flats. We have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. Sometimes the rain makes the road messy and the customers stay home, but we just deal with it. It’s a local business, through and through. We know the people who walk by every day and we’ve seen the kids grow up over the years. That’s just how it is at Kundanvala Brothers. We stay busy and we stay local.
