Vikash Spring Works

Vikash Spring Works is tucked away in Plot No. 89 at Shankar Estate. If you know the Ctm area in Amraiwadi, you probably know where Reva Bhai Estate is, and we are right near that. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks moving in and out all day. We spend most of our time at the workbench or tending to the machines. It’s a metal shop, so there’s always that smell of oil and iron in the air. We make springs of different sizes and for different uses. Some are small, others are heavy-duty. There isn't much to say about us besides the fact that we show up and do the work. We’ve been here for a good bit now. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the machines are what matter most. Sometimes we have a backlog and other times it's quiet enough to catch a breather. We don't have a big office or anything. Just a desk with some papers and the shop floor. People usually just walk in when they need something made or repaired. We try to be fair with everyone. Amraiwadi is a hard-working part of town and we fit right in. It gets noisy with the grinding and the clanging of metal, but that’s just the sound of things getting done. We stay busy until the sun goes down. It's simple work but someone has to do it correctly. That's what happens here every day.
