Vijay Shakti Sidecar

Vijay Shakti Sidecar is located right at the Gandhi Bridge Corner. If you know the Shahpur Road area, we’re near Shankarbhuvan. It’s a bit of a tight spot with all the traffic coming off the bridge, but we’ve managed here for a long time. Our workshop is where we spend most of our time, working on sidecars and making sure they fit right. It’s a lot of metalwork and welding, so there’s usually a bit of a mess on the floor and tools everywhere. We aren't big on paperwork or fancy desks. We’d rather be out there with a wrench in hand. The Shahpur Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside our door. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other talk when the big trucks go by. We’ve got a small crew here, and we all know the routine by heart now. We just take the jobs as they come in. Some days are packed, and other days we have time to sit on the bench out front and watch the people crossing the bridge. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don’t bother with big signs or anything. People usually find us because they’ve seen us working as they drive past Shankarbhuvan. We just keep our heads down and get the sidecars ready. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s home for us. We just keep the shop running day by day.
