Mahavir Chemicals

Mahavir Chemicals is based in GIDC Phase-2 at Plot No. C-1/56. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. It is a bit different from Phase-3, maybe a bit more crowded with older buildings. We handle chemicals here, so there is always a certain smell in the air that you get used to after five minutes. The gate is a bit narrow, so sometimes the drivers grumble when they have to back their trucks in. Inside the facility, we have rows of drums and bags stacked up. It is not a very quiet place because of the machines running nearby, but we manage just fine. My desk is usually covered in papers and sample bottles. We don't really do much in terms of fancy advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years in the GIDC circuit. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the mixtures are right and the packaging is strong enough for transport. There is a small chai stall just a few buildings down where we go when we need a break from the noise. Working at Mahavir Chemicals means being on your feet quite a bit. It is hard work, especially in the summer heat, but it keeps us busy. We just keep our heads down and do the work as it comes in without making any big fuss about it.
