Microgenix Specialities Pvt. Ltd. is based at 16 Regent Park. We are situated on that lane where the Chief Justice bungalow is, over in the Bodakdev area. It’s a fairly nice part of Ahmedabad, a bit quieter than the main industrial zones. Our building is a standard setup where we handle the administrative side and some of the smaller specialty tasks. We deal with some technical stuff, so there is usually a lot of talk about specifications and batch numbers going on in the office. It’s not the kind of place with a lot of foot traffic. Most of our day is spent on computers or coordinating with the production side. The lane outside is lined with trees, which makes it feel a bit different from the dusty roads elsewhere. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, some filing cabinets, and a tea kettle that’s always on. We don’t really go in for big corporate decorations. The walls have some old calendars and charts on them. We usually start around 9:30 in the morning and stay until the work is done. Sometimes we stay late if there is a big shipment to organize. It’s a steady pace of work. We know our neighbors and the security guards on the street. It feels like a regular office where everyone just knows what they need to do without needing to be told twice. We just keep things moving along steadily.
