Karma Chemical Industries

Our shop is over in Vatva, specifically at 67/6 in Phase 1 of the GIDC. If you know this area, you know it is full of industries and it gets quite loud. We have been handling chemicals here for quite a while now. It started as a small setup and hasn't changed all that much in size, though we have added some newer drums and mixing tanks over the years. It is sweaty work, especially in the summer months when the shed gets hot. We focus on mixing and preparing different chemical batches for local buyers. We do not have a big corporate team, just a handful of us who wear boots and get our hands dirty. The GIDC is a busy place, with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We fit right in with the rest of the units around here. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. We do not try to be anything we are not. We just make the chemicals, bottle them up, and get them sent out. My uncle used to run things, and now I am here doing the same. We know the neighbors and we know the local transporters. It is a simple operation but it works. You won't find any marble floors here, just concrete and the smell of the stuff we are making that day. It isn't a glamorous job, but we built a life out of it.
