Dytint Specialities Pvt. Ltd. is found at Plot No. C-1/126, Phase-1, Gidc. We share this part of the industrial estate with a lot of other businesses, so it’s always a bit crowded. Our unit is basically just a large warehouse space with a small partitioned area for the paperwork. We spend the majority of our time on the main floor. There’s no air conditioning, just the big doors we leave open and some industrial fans that make a lot of noise. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We wear work clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty. The address, Plot No. C-1/126, is where everything happens for us. We have a calendar on the wall that’s a few months out of date, but we use it for notes anyway. The phone rings pretty often, usually just customers asking when their stuff will be ready. We don’t have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here in Phase-1 for a long time and people know we do our work. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during the lunch break just to get some sun and watch the trucks go by. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't need anything more than our tools and the space we have here. It’s a small operation, but we keep it moving day after day. It suits us.
