At Ascent Finechem Pvt. Ltd., we operate out of Plot No. 273, A/B & 272/5/P/1 in Phase-2 of the Gidc. Having two different plot numbers can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers, so we are always pointing them in the right direction. The setup here is mostly focused on mixing and storage. We have a lot of large plastic drums and stainless steel tanks scattered around the main floor. Phase-2 is an older part of the industrial estate, so the buildings have a bit of character and some cracks in the pavement outside. We spend a lot of time moving things with a pallet jack and making sure the labels don't peel off in the heat. It gets very warm in the afternoons, and the air can get a bit stuffy, so we try to keep the fans going. We aren't a big corporate office; we are just a bunch of people who know how to handle chemicals safely. We have a small break room where the fridge makes a weird humming noise, but it keeps the water cold. Most of our day is spent following procedures and checking the stock levels. It is honest, practical work that requires a lot of standing and lifting. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the wall, just the safety signs and a calendar that is usually a month behind.
