Ambica Fine Chem Llp is situated at Plot No. 170 in Phase-2, right near the Premier Boiler building. It’s an easy enough place to find once you’re in Gidc. We deal with chemical processing, which means there’s a lot of sitting around waiting for things to react and then a lot of rushing to get it bottled or drummed up. Our team is small, mostly local guys who have been in the trade for a long time. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning; we just have a small cabin for the paperwork and the rest is open to the factory air. It gets dusty and hot, but we’re used to it. We don't spend our time writing mission statements or worrying about company identity. We just focus on making sure the chemicals are mixed correctly and the safety protocols are followed. It’s a serious job, but we try to keep a relaxed atmosphere when we can. You’ll often see us standing outside the gate having a tea break when a batch is simmering. We’ve been at this plot for a good while, and we know most of the people on this street. It’s a tight-knit group in Phase-2. We just do our best to stay consistent and keep the orders moving out the door. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to run a business. We just keep the drums moving and the floors swept every afternoon.
