Vardhman Medical And Provision Store

We are over at number 3 Sarvoday Nagar, right by the Hatkeshwer Cross Road. Being in Khokhara Mehmadabad means it is always noisy and there is always something going on outside our door. This place is a bit of a mix because we do the medical stuff but we also have the provision store side of things. It keeps us on our toes. One minute I am helping someone with their blood pressure pills and the next minute I am bagging up some flour or soap for a neighbor. It’s a busy life here at the crossroad. The shelves are always packed with a bit of everything because people in Sarvoday Nagar expect to find their daily needs in one go. We don't have any fancy management or corporate rules. It is just us working through the day, making sure the stock is topped up and the floor is swept. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and leaks near the front door, so we have to move the bags of grain back a bit. That is just how it goes with an older building. We’ve known the families around here for years and they know us. You don't get much peace and quiet at this intersection, but we like being in the middle of it all. It feels right to be the local shop where you can get your medicine and your groceries without having to go all the way into the city center.
