United Medical Engineers Systems

Up here at United Medical Engineers Systems, we stay pretty busy with the day-to-day stuff. Our place is located at Plot No. 80 in the Vibrant Industrial Park. It’s near Zak Gidc, out in Vahalal Ta Daskroi. If you haven't been out this way, it is a big industrial zone with lots of different companies and warehouses. We focus on medical engineering things, so there is always a lot of technical equipment around. The industrial park gets quite dusty during the dry season and the roads have a lot of heavy traffic with lorries coming and going. Inside our unit, it's mostly about keeping the benches organized and making sure the tools are where they belong. We aren't big on meetings or anything corporate. It’s more about sitting at the bench and figuring out why a piece of equipment isn't doing what it is supposed to do. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. Vahalal is a bit of a drive for some, but it's where the space is. We have our routine of starting early before it gets too warm. There is usually coffee or tea going in the corner and someone is always checking a manual or a blueprint. We just try to keep things moving and get the units out the door. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. There is always a lot to learn with new medical gear coming in.
