Our workshop and office are situated at A-1-3706 in Phase IV of the GIDC Industrial Estate in Vatva. It’s a large industrial zone, so there are factories all around us. We work with vacuum systems and industrial equipment. It’s a lot of metal and heavy parts. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or shavings from whatever we’re putting together. It’s a noisy environment most of the time. We have a small group of guys who know these machines inside and out. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we do, they usually just come into the back where the work is happening. We spend our days assembling units and testing them out. It’s practical, hands-on work. The office side is just a few desks where we handle the orders and the tax stuff. Vatva is quite a distance from the main city, so most of us commute a fair bit to get here. We usually have a shared lunch in the break area. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We focus on building things that work and making sure they get shipped out to the customers on time. The heat in the industrial shed can be tough in May, but we just keep the fans running and get on with it. We've been here for years and we know the rhythms of the estate. It's just our everyday reality.
