We’re located over at Vijay Plaza on the ground floor, specifically in units 7 and 8. It’s right across from the Abad Dairy on Kankaria Road, so the smell of the dairy is something we’ve gotten used to over the years. We run a transport business here. It’s mostly about moving goods across different distances and making sure the trucks are where they need to be. It’s a noisy office sometimes, with the phones ringing and drivers coming in to pick up their logs. We don’t have any polished corporate offices; it’s just a practical space where we get the work done. The Kankaria Road area is always moving, and we’re right in the middle of it. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we’ve seen the way transport has changed, but the basics are still the same. You need a reliable truck and a driver who knows the roads. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who have used us before or seen our trucks around. We try to be honest about timing, though sometimes things happen on the highway that are out of our control. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of business, and we’re okay with that. We just want to keep the wheels turning and getting their stuff where it needs to be every day.
