If you’re driving on the Baroda Express Highway, you’ve probably passed right by us without realizing it. We are located at 104/2 in the Ramdev Estate, just opposite the highway and near the Green Market. Being near C.T.M. Amraiwadi means there is always a lot of movement around here. We deal with milk products, so our day starts way before the sun even thinks about coming up. You can hear the crates clanking at 4 AM when the first deliveries arrive. It’s a wet kind of job, always cleaning the floors and checking the temperatures on the vats. The office is just a small room with a desk that’s seen better days, piled high with ledgers. We don't spend much time sitting down though. There is always a truck backing in or someone from the market coming over to check on an order. The proximity to the highway makes it loud, but it’s convenient for getting things moved out fast. We’ve got a couple of old fans that struggle in the heat, so we drink a lot of water. It’s hard work and your hands are always cold from the refrigeration, but it’s what we do. We’ve been part of this estate for a long time and the people around here are like family. It’s not a polished place, just a working dairy where we focus on getting the work done right every single morning. We just keep the production moving as best we can.
