Our office, Uma Converter Pvt. Ltd., is up on the 4th Floor of Circle B at A/36. We are right on Judges Bungalow Road, near the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway in Bodakdev. Being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the traffic moving along the highway, which never really seems to stop. Bodakdev has grown a lot lately, so there are always new buildings going up around us. Our space in Circle B is pretty straightforward. We have a few rooms filled with desks and a small area where we keep the water cooler. It is a modern enough building, but we’ve made it our own with mismatched chairs and piles of folders. The elevator sometimes takes a while, so we end up walking the stairs if we are in a hurry. Working near the highway means it is never truly quiet, but you get used to the background hum of the cars. We usually spend our mornings catching up on emails and our afternoons in meetings that sometimes go on a bit too long. There are some good cafes around the corner where we grab a quick bite. It is a busy part of Ahmedabad to be in, and things are always moving fast. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to stay on top of everything that comes our way. It isn't a fancy setup, but it works for us.
