Out in Changodar, things are a bit spread out. Tgb Bakers & Confectioners Pvt.Ltd. is at Block No.328/1, right across from where Harsha Engineering is. You can usually tell you’re close because of the smell of baking bread and sugar that hits you before you even see the gate. It’s a big space because we need room for the ovens and the packing lines. The heat in the kitchen area can get pretty intense, especially during the summer months when the Gujarat sun is beating down on the roof. We start early, often before the sun is even up, to get the batches ready for the morning deliveries. There’s a lot of flour on the floor sometimes, and the sound of the mixers is constant throughout the day. We have trucks coming in and out to pick up crates of biscuits and cakes. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always someone running around with a clipboard checking the inventory. We don't have a fancy showroom here; it’s mostly just the production floor and some basic office space for the supervisors. The staff takes their breaks in a small corner, usually with some tea and whatever didn't make it into the packaging correctly. It’s hard work, and your clothes always end up smelling like vanilla or yeast by the time you go home. We just focus on getting the dough mixed and the ovens loaded on time.
