Uma Plast

We have been running things here at Uma Plast for a good while now. Our spot is right in C/3 of the Harekrishna Complex, which is pretty easy to find since it is right across from the Apsara Cinema in Kankaria. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the people coming for movies and the general traffic around here. Most days start early, usually unloading some stock or checking on what came in the night before. Dealing with plastics means there is always something to move around or organize in the shop. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We just have our shelves and the space we need to get the work done. Kankaria is a lively part of town, so there’s always something happening outside the door. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but that is just part of being in this location. We spend a lot of time on our feet, making sure things are where they should be and talking to people who drop by. The building itself has its quirks, like any older complex, but it works for what we need. It’s a straightforward job, really. We just show up, handle the plastic goods, and go home when the day is finished. There isn’t much to it beyond that. Just a local business trying to keep things moving along in this part of the city. We hope to stay here for many more years as the neighborhood continues to grow around us.
