Our office is up on the 5th floor of the Sukhshine Building, right on Drive In Road in Sunrise Park Society. It’s a busy area of the city, and being on the fifth floor means we get a bit of a view, though it’s mostly just other buildings and traffic. U K S Institute of Science Swastik Institute is a place where you’ll find a lot of students coming and going for their science classes. The elevator in this building is usually slow, so many of us end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout. Inside, it’s mostly whiteboards, markers, and rows of benches. It’s a practical setup designed for studying. There’s always a faint smell of ink and old books in the air. We don’t have a big reception with fancy lights; it’s just a desk with a lot of registers and a phone that rings quite a bit. The staff here is small, and we mostly just focus on getting the schedules right and making sure the labs have what they need. It can get pretty loud when classes let out and everyone is talking at once in the hallway. We deal with the usual city stuff like power cuts and internet issues now and then. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like the routine and the students keep things interesting. It’s just a regular coaching center in a busy part of Ahmedabad, doing its thing every day and night.
