Tulsi Hotel (Aslali)

Tulsi Hotel is located at Tulsi Avenue in Aslali, right on National Highway 8. We are pretty easy to spot because we are near the Jamnagar Transport office. Being on the NH 8 means we get a lot of truck drivers and people traveling long distances. It’s a dusty, busy part of the road, but it’s a good spot for a hotel because people always need a place to stop. We’ve been here at the 380045 pin code area for a good while now. The rooms are basic and we don't try to make them look like something they aren't. We just want to give people a place to rest before they get back on the highway. The kitchen serves simple food that fills you up. Most of our days are spent checking people in and out or making sure the water tanks are full. It can be a bit loud with all the heavy trucks rolling by at night, but that’s life on the highway. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything, just a front desk and some staff who have been with us for years. We just keep things running day and night because the highway never really sleeps. If you’re driving down NH 8 towards Ahmedabad, you’ll likely see us. It’s just a plain hotel for travelers who need a break from the road. We try to keep the tea hot and the rooms ready at all hours. It isn't much, but it's ours and it works.
