The Pride Hotel, Ahmedabad

This is the office for The Pride Hotel in Ahmedabad, but we are actually over at Maruti Apartment in Naranpura. Unit 2/17. It's right by the petrol pump on Sola Road. A lot of people get confused and look for a big hotel building right here, but this is more of our base of operations. We deal with the rooms, the bookings, and all the back-end stuff that keeps a place running. It’s a busy street, always cars honking near the pump. Inside the apartment, it’s much quieter. We have a few computers and some old ledgers. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to get to it right now. We manage the day-to-day things from this flat. Sometimes guests call with questions about their stay, and we handle it from these desks. It’s a bit cramped when the whole team is in, but we make it work. Naranpura is a good central spot for us. We’ve been here for quite some time. There’s a small grocery store downstairs where we get our biscuits. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters. It’s just 2/17 Maruti Apartment. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the schedule. If you come by, the petrol pump is the best landmark to find us. We are usually here from nine until the evening work is all done and the logs are signed off.
