The Metropole Hotel

You can find us at the Lalbhai Centre, specifically at A/2/9, right across from Aden Park Society in Maninagar East. We’ve been part of this Ahmedabad neighborhood for a good stretch of time. Being in the hotel business means we see a lot of different faces coming through the doors. Some people stay for a night, others for a few weeks, and we try to make sure they have a place to sleep that isn’t too noisy. Maninagar is a busy area, but our spot is tucked in well enough. We spend a lot of our time cleaning rooms and making sure the towels are fresh. It’s a lot of routine stuff, honestly. We aren't a big chain with hundreds of rooms, so we know most of our guests by name before they check out. If the air conditioning acts up or someone needs an extra blanket, we just go and fix it. It's just us running the place, making sure the lights stay on and the guests are sorted. The neighborhood has changed over the years, but we’re still here at the same address. Usually, someone is at the front desk if you need anything. We don’t do big fancy ads. Most of the people who stay here found us because they needed to be near this side of town for work or family visits. It's a simple operation, but it keeps us on our feet throughout the day and into the night.
