The Leela Kempinski Bangalore

So, The Leela Kempinski Bangalore has this office at C-7 Sterling Flats. It’s located in Ahmedabad, right behind Westend Park. We are near the Gurudwara in Bodakdev, and the pin code is 380059. Even though the name says Bangalore, this is where we are actually sitting every day. The flats are in a pretty quiet residential neighborhood, which is a nice change of pace. It’s good because you don't hear as much traffic as you do on the main city roads. The Gurudwara nearby is a good landmark for people, and you can sometimes hear the chanting from there in the morning. The office is inside a flat, so it has a very lived-in and simple feel. We have a couple of desks in the living room area and some filing cabinets in what used to be a spare bedroom. It isn't very big, but it works fine for what we need to do. The kitchen still has the old stove, but we mostly just use the kettle to make tea or coffee for ourselves during the breaks. Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so the air conditioner is usually running all day long or we'd melt. We have a small balcony where we keep some empty boxes and a few dusty chairs. Most of the neighbors know us by now, so they don’t mind us being here. It’s a fairly basic setup. We spend the day handling paperwork and taking calls. It’s just a regular job.
