Being located at Plot No 411/5 in Phase-2 of the GIDC Estate in Vatva means we are right in the heart of the industrial action. Syntron Industries Pvt Ltd has been here for a good while. The GIDC is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the dust, but it’s where all the real manufacturing happens. Our facility is pretty standard for the area. We have our machinery on one side and a small office space partitioned off where we handle the admin work. It gets pretty noisy when the machines are running full tilt, so we usually have to shout to be heard. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s mostly about managing the production cycles and making sure we don't run out of raw materials. The workers here are local guys who know their way around the equipment. We spend our lunch breaks sitting outside if there’s a breeze, or just staying near the fans inside. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the gauges. We don’t really bother with fancy reports or corporate retreats. We just make sure the products are made right and sent out to the clients who need them. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living and we’ve been at it long enough to know the routine inside out.
