Swati Fashion Hub

We spend most of our mornings at Swati Fashion Hub just getting the racks sorted out near Name Nagar Lake. The shop is tucked away in RMS Society and sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic passing through Gurukul. I usually start by sweeping the front step and checking if any new stock arrived on the rickshaw. Ahmedabad heat is no joke in the afternoons so we keep the fans running high while we fold the clothes. It’s not a fancy place but we have plenty of stuff stacked up on the shelves. People from around the society pop in to see what’s new or just to say hello while they’re out on errands. We’ve been here a while now and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if I’m being honest. Most days are just spent helping people find a size that actually fits or untangling hangers that got stuck together. It’s a lot of manual work and my back usually aches by five o'clock. The lake area gets busy in the evenings which brings in more foot traffic. Sometimes we just sit on the stools and wait for the sun to go down so it cools off a bit. There’s always a pile of plastic bags in the corner that needs organizing and the ledger is sitting on the desk with coffee rings on it. We just keep things moving one day at a time here in Ahmedabad.
