Our place is on the third floor of the Lilamani Trade Center. Being up on the third floor means it’s a bit quieter than the ground level, but we still hear the Delhi Darwaja traffic. The elevator breaks down every few months, so we end up carrying a lot of bags up the stairs. It’s good exercise, I guess. The space in D-309 is mostly filled with racks and boxes. We don't have a showroom feel. It’s more of a working office and storage spot. We spend a lot of time on the phone with people asking about their orders. Sometimes the fabric comes in from the mills and it’s perfect, and other times we have to send it back. We don't make a big deal out of it, just part of the routine. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is actually quite nice, even if the view is just other buildings. We have a small table in the corner where we eat our lunch and have a bit of a break. Most of the people around here in the Trade Center know us. We’ve been here for a while. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just pack the clothes, check the labels, and get them moved out. There is always something to do, so the day goes by pretty fast.
