Sumuv Fab

You’ll find Sumuv Fab over at 62/C in the Revabhai Industrial Estate. It’s in Part 1, near the Ctm area in Amraivadi. This place is full of workshops and small factories, so there is always the constant sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of grease. We do a lot of fabrication work here. The shop is big enough for our machines but it feels small when we have a big project going on and the floor gets covered in scraps. We moved into this estate a while back because it’s where all the industrial action is. The roads around here aren't the best, especially when it rains and the mud gets everywhere. We spend most of our time welding and cutting steel. My clothes usually have a few small burn holes in them by the end of the week. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for long. We have a small office corner with a couple of chairs and a dusty fan, but mostly we are out on the floor. Amraivadi is a hardworking neighborhood. There are a lot of us doing similar things, but everyone has their own way of getting things done. We don't have any fancy brochures. People just come in with a sketch on a piece of paper and we see what we can do. It’s straightforward, honest work. Some days are longer than others. We just keep our heads down and get the fabrication done.
