Subhlaxmi Garments

Our shop is up on the third floor of the Aust Vinayak Complex. It’s over by Dariyapur Gate in the Bardolpura area. Climbing those stairs every day keeps us moving, though the elevator works most of the time. We have a decent sized room where we keep all the garments. It’s mostly just rows of tables and some racks. Being on the third floor means we don’t get as much dust from the street, which is nice. We spend most of our hours checking the seams and making sure the buttons are on right. It is a bit of a walk from the main gate, but people seem to find us okay. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. There isn't much in the way of decoration in the office. Just some old calendars and a few photos on the walls. We take our work seriously but we like to joke around while we work to keep the mood light. The complex gets pretty busy during the middle of the week with all the other garment businesses nearby. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we pack up the orders. It’s a simple life and we like being part of the Bardolpura community. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to stay late to finish up, but that’s just part of the business. We just do what we can to keep things moving.
