Stan Events

We’ve been running Stan Events out of our space in Vastrapur for a good bit now. If you know Ahmedabad, you probably know the Vastrapur Lake area. It’s always crowded with families and people just hanging out. Our office is right near the Honest Restaurant, which is a bit of a landmark around here. It makes it easy for us to give directions because everyone knows where to get pav bhaji. We are in the 380015 area, which is pretty central for us. The office itself is just a regular room with some desks. We don’t have fancy paintings on the walls or anything like that. Most mornings start with getting tea from the guy downstairs. The traffic can be a real headache around the lake during the weekends, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of time on our phones and computers, just sorting things out. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big team of suits. It’s just us. The building is okay, nothing special to look at, but it keeps the rain off our heads. We chose this spot because it’s easy to get to from most parts of the city. Being near a place like Honest Restaurant means there’s always something going on. Sometimes we just sit by the window and watch the cars go by when things get slow. That’s just how our daily life goes here. We try to keep it simple.
