Asian Business Media is on the third floor of Akshar Tower. We are right beside Pakwan Restaurant, which is a place almost everyone in the city knows. Being on the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway means we see a lot of traffic all day long. It’s a busy, fast-paced area. Our office at number 301 is where we spend our ten to seven every day. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms with computers and a lot of magazines and papers piled up on the desks. You can hear the hum of the highway from the windows if they are left open. The building has an elevator that sometimes takes a while, so we often just take the stairs if we're in a hurry. We are right in the middle of all the commercial action on SG Highway. It's a convenient spot because everything is close by, but it can be a bit overwhelming with the constant noise and the sun hitting the glass in the afternoon. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and talk about the day’s work. There is nothing fancy about how we operate. We just have a job to do and we come here to do it. The view from the third floor isn't much, just the tops of cars and the restaurant next door, but it’s our view. We’ve been in this tower for a while and know the security guards and other office folks. It is a very practical place for us.
