Span Apparels

Span Apparels is based at Span House, which is over in Shreyas Colony near the Stadium Circle. If you’re coming from Navrangpura, you’ll see us right across from where the Vodafone House is. This part of Ahmedabad is always crowded, especially with all the traffic coming off the main circle. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It’s got a bit of history to it and isn't one of those new glass towers you see popping up everywhere. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and piles of fabrics or samples tucked away in corners. The staff here mostly takes the metro or rides their scooters to get in. It gets loud outside with all the honking, but we are used to it by now. We don't spend a lot of time making things look perfect for visitors because there is always something else that needs fixing or finishing. Lunch is usually a quick affair at our desks or sometimes we go out to one of the stalls nearby if the weather is decent. Working in the apparel business means there is always a lot of clutter around, but we know where everything is. It’s not a corporate vibe at all. We just show up and handle the orders and the paperwork as it comes in. Most of the day is just routine stuff, making sure things go where they are supposed to. We just keep our heads down and work.
