We’ve been running Sm Events Pvt Ltd out of Shop No-8 in the Sameer Complex for quite some time now. If you know the Navrangpura area, we are right near Swastik Cross, which is almost always busy with traffic and people heading to C G Road. Being so close to the Municipal Market means there is always something going on right outside our door. We mostly handle local events here in Ahmedabad. It’s a lot of running around, talking to different vendors, and making sure things show up on time. My brother and I started this because we liked being around people, and now it’s just our daily routine. We don't have a big fancy office, just a practical space where we keep our files and meet folks who need a hand with their functions. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the outdoor work really tough, but we get through it. People usually find us by word of mouth or they see our sign when they are out shopping nearby. It’s not a complicated business, just a lot of logistics and phone calls. We deal with all sorts of gatherings, from small family things to bigger parties. Navrangpura has changed a lot since we first opened, but we are still right here in the same spot. We usually stay late most nights getting things ready for the next day's work. It is just how it goes in this line of work and we are used to it.
