Sita Apparels Pvt. Ltd. is located over in the Shree Ghantakarna Mahavir Market. We are at I-15, which is right near the New Cloth Market. If you’ve ever been to Sarangpur Gate, you know how crowded it gets around there. It’s one of those old-school markets where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We have been in this spot for a long time. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it serves our purpose well. We deal with all kinds of apparel and the rooms are usually overflowing with boxes and samples. There isn’t much space to walk around once a new shipment comes in. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signs. We just have our name on the door and we get on with it. The morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping out the dust that somehow gets in overnight. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags and sorting through piles of clothes. We have a few regular guys who help with the loading and unloading. We don't really go for all that corporate talk. We just want to make sure the clothes are ready and the orders are correct. Sometimes we sit out on the landing to catch a bit of a breeze because it gets stuffy inside. It’s a noisy, busy place but it’s our corner of Ahmedabad and we are comfortable here. That’s really all there is to it.
