We spend most of our time at the office here in Satya Deep Heights. It is right across from the Torrent Power Station in Makarba, so it is easy for people to find us even if they aren't from this part of Ahmedabad. Being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just busy with the day-to-day tasks of running the hotels and resorts under our name. The area around Makarba has changed a lot lately with more buildings going up, but the traffic near the power station stays pretty much the same. We started this as a small group and it still feels that way when we are sitting around the desk talking about bookings or maintenance. It is not always glamorous work, especially when the phones don't stop ringing or there is some paperwork that needs sorting out for the Gujarat authorities. Most of the staff live nearby, so we have a local feel to how we do things. We don't really do the fancy corporate meetings; it's more about getting the job done and making sure the properties are in good shape for whoever is staying there. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the city noise, but that is just part of being in Ahmedabad. We just keep our heads down and handle the logistics for the Siara brand from this office space. It is a lot of work but we stay on top of it.
