Shriram Fertilisers & Chemicals

Our office and storage are located at Shree, inside the Jaffarji Gin Compound on Cotton Market Road. It is an old area with a lot of history related to the trade. Shriram Fertilisers & Chemicals has been based here for many years. The compound itself is quite busy, especially in the mornings when the market nearby is in full swing. There is a lot of shouting, the sound of wooden carts, and the smell of the various goods being traded. Our space is functional and nothing more. We have bags of supplies stacked up and a few old wooden desks where we handle the accounts. The walls are painted a pale color that has faded over the time. We do not spend money on making the place look modern because that is not what our visitors expect. They just want to know if we have what they need in stock. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the drivers who come to pick up loads. It is a very practical environment. We know the tea seller at the corner and the guys at the gate. It feels like a small community inside this old compound. We just do our bit and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It is how we have always done things here.
