Sri Krishana Traders

You can find Sri Krishana Traders over in Navarangpura, right behind the Hotel President. We are in the Chitrarath building, office number 307. C.G. Road is usually very busy, so it’s actually nice to be tucked a bit behind the main stretch. It saves us from some of the noise. Our office isn't very big. It’s mostly filled with samples and ledgers. We do trading, which means a lot of time on the phone and checking prices. Some days are slow and we just sit around chatting, but other days we can barely keep up with the orders. We’ve been in this building for several years. The lift is a bit slow and sometimes it gets stuck, so most of us just take the stairs to the third floor. We know the tea guy downstairs very well; he brings us snacks in the afternoon. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t do much in the way of big presentations. If someone wants to buy something, they usually just call or stop by for a chat. We prefer doing business face-to-face when we can. Navarangpura is a good place to be because everything is close by. We just focus on our daily trade and try to keep the books balanced. It’s a regular office with regular people working hard to make a living. We have our routines and we stick to them because it's what keeps the doors open.
