Running Shri Khodiyar Tours & Travels out of the Kaival Kanta Compound in Rakhial has kept us busy for a long time. Our place is on Nagarvel Hanuman Road, which is a pretty active part of Ahmedabad. We mostly handle bookings for people who want to go on trips or need a vehicle for a few days. It’s not always easy keeping all the schedules straight, but we manage. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it’s quieter. We’ve lived and worked in this area for years, so we know the roads and the traffic patterns around here better than most. Most people who come to us are looking for a reliable way to get from one place to another without a lot of fuss. We have a few different vehicles and we try to keep them in good shape, though the dust in Rakhial makes that a constant chore. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to drive and organize routes. Sometimes people want a long trip across the state, and other times it’s just a quick drop-off. We take it as it comes. It’s a practical business. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. It’s a lot of coordination, but being right here in the compound makes it easier for us to stay connected to the local community.
