Our shop is at 2023 Shopping Centre in Sector 2, Gandhinagar. Being in the heart of the sector means we see a lot of the same faces every day. It is a relatively quiet area compared to some other parts of the city, which is nice for us. We deal with both medicines and provision items, so it is a bit of everything under one roof. Most mornings start with us cleaning the glass cases and checking what came in with the latest delivery. We are not trying to be the biggest store out there, just a reliable one for the people living in the nearby government quarters and houses. Sector 2 has its own rhythm, and we have gotten used to it over the years. We keep the usual soaps, shampoos, and food grains along with the pharmaceutical products. It is a practical way to run a business in this part of Gandhinagar. Sometimes the stock takes up a lot of room and we have boxes sitting in the aisles for a while, but we clear them out as fast as we can. It is just the nature of a small unit in a shopping centre. People appreciate not having to go all the way to the bigger markets for their small daily needs. We stay open most days of the week. It is a steady job and we take it seriously without making a big fuss.
