We’re tucked away behind Hotel Mony at 6/7 Rollan Estate. It’s right off the Isanpur Narol Highway in Narol. The traffic on the highway is always humming in the background. Shreejee Honey India Pvt Ltd is where we spend our days. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a lot of activity. We have boxes of jars and equipment everywhere. It’s not the cleanest looking place, but it’s where the work happens. The smell of honey is always there, sometimes thick, sometimes faint. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just handle the honey and make sure it gets to where it’s going. The staff here is small, just a handful of us who’ve been together for a while. We know the truck drivers who come through the estate by their first names. It’s a bit of a gritty spot, but we like the pace of it. We don't have any awards on the walls or anything. Just some calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up. We work hard, especially when a big batch comes in. The highway noise is just part of the day now. We don't mind it. It’s just us doing our thing in Narol. No big mission statements, just honey and hard work. Most evenings we are just packing up and getting ready to do it all again tomorrow. It’s a simple life for us here in the estate.
