Shree Ambica Medical And Provision

Sola Road is always a mess with the traffic these days. Our shop, Shree Ambica Medical And Provision, is right inside the Padma Ambica Complex at E/6. It is a bit of a tight squeeze once you get inside because we have the medicine racks on one side and then all the household provisions on the other. You can find things like milk and biscuits alongside the cough syrups. Sometimes it feels more like a general store than a medical shop, but that is what people in this part of Sola Road seem to need. The ceiling fan in the back makes this clicking sound every time it’s on high, but I’ve gotten used to it. The floor tiles are a bit chipped near the entrance from years of people coming in and out. I spend a lot of my time checking the dates on the packets and making sure nothing is sitting there too long. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is getting home from work and they remember they forgot to buy tea leaves or their tablets. I usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background, mostly just for the news or some old songs. It is not a very fancy setup, just a practical place to get what you need for the house or your health. We’ve been here in this complex for a few years and most of the faces are familiar now.
