You can find Shoe Box True To Style right across from Vastrapur Lake. We are in Shop No. F-10 at the Alfa 1 Mall. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re already hanging out near the water. We’ve been here for a bit, and the shop is mostly just rows of shelves and some benches for people to sit down and try things on. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but we manage. The mall has its own rhythm, and we usually know it’s lunchtime when the smell from the food court starts drifting down the hallway. We spend our mornings checking the stock and making sure the pairs match up, which sounds easy but sometimes things get mixed up in the boxes. The floor is that old tile that stays cool in the summer, which is nice. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you need a specific size, we usually have to climb a ladder to the top shelf. Sometimes the mall elevator is out of order, so we have to carry deliveries up the stairs, which is quite a workout. We keep a radio on low volume most days to keep us company. It’s a straightforward business, nothing too complicated about it. We just stay open until the mall guards start making their rounds.
