Reliance Footprint

Our store is on the ground floor of the Turquoise building, right at the Panchvati Cross Road. It is a very busy spot on C. G. Road, especially in the evenings when everyone is out walking and looking at the shops. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass doors because people are always leaving fingerprints on them. Reliance Footprint is quite big inside, and we have rows and rows of shoes that we have to keep organized. Every morning, the first thing we do is walk the aisles to make sure everything is in the right place. Sometimes people come in just to escape the heat or the rain, and we don't mind that at all. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock in boxes piled up to the ceiling. It is always a bit of a maze back there. The staff here is a mix of young kids and some older folks who have been in retail for a long time. We wear our uniforms and try to stay on our feet all day. Lunch happens in shifts because the store never closes during the day. We see all kinds of people, from students to office workers from the nearby Center Point building. Near the end of the day, our feet usually ache quite a bit, which is funny considering we sell shoes. We just lock the doors at night, count the till, and head home to get some rest for the next day.
