Shiv Krupa Garment

We are down on the ground floor of Laxmi Vishnu Market, shop number 23. Shiv Krupa Garment is right in the middle of the Gheekanta area, which is always noisy and full of life. It’s a wholesale market mostly, so there are always people carrying big bundles of fabric on their shoulders. Our shop is small but we cram as much as we can onto the shelves. It’s dusty work, and we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass counters every morning. We mostly sell readymade garments. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It is just us and a few helpers who have been here since we opened. The market is old, and sometimes the rain leaks a little near the entrance, but we put out a bucket and keep going. Customers come from all over to find good prices here. We don't talk much, we just show the stock and tell the price. There is no point in making things complicated. Most of the day is spent checking the inventory and talking to the guys who bring the goods from the factories. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for the next rush, but that is how market life is. We’ve been at this for years and don't plan on changing much. We like the routine of the market and the people we see every day in this building.
